  • Monolithic - Our manufacturing process creates a seamless single output joining the containing shell and metal foam. No mechanical or adhesive attachment. Reliable, effective and practical.

  • Uniform density - We can tune foam density carefully and distribute it evenly in a containing shell. This makes novel thermally and impact-shielded aerospace and military applications practical for the first time. Satellite bodies (“buses”), rocket bodies, and missile fuselages can all benefit from enhanced structural integrity conferring dual protection to internal components.

  • Scalable and economical - Unlike slower methods, such as 3D printing, the manufacturing process we employ is fully scalable. Unlike the exorbitant cost of powdered metal alternatives, Stroam® is a low-cost method that finally allows for components and products that can compete head-to-head with alternatives, from heat exchangers to airframe panels to the best light armor made today.
